Am a Paper Crafter who crafts with paper of course 😛

And it's winter season which horses bridegrooms to their awaiting brides.... And when invited it's a ritual for blessings to be showered in cash & kinds.... And THE CASH requires a cover to nest in until it reaches the respective receiver....

As a paper crafter am on a SHAGUN LIFAFA (CASH ENVELOPE) making spree.... HANDMADE is a blessing so full of LOVE 💓 anything handmade for that matter.... Food, Gifts, Clothes, So on & So forth....

CHICKEN LATTPATT/GHASSI

 Hello All....

An old blogger but exploring new time of life.... A LIFE FULL OF LOSSES; Despite that I am still breathing & ought to keep going until I breathe my last....

Hence back to blogging my thoughts & actions cuz no thing else has enough space to accommodate them... Hope someone finds this helpful for their life too someday.....

Prepared TOMATO GOJJU for dinner with roti.... Loved the way it tasted for i changed a few lil things & by the end of my last bite, I felt inspired & thought of using the prep for a chicken preparation.... but of course with lil tweaks again....

And so I did the next day by noon & loved the way it turned out.... SIMPLE YET DELICIOUS 😋 

As usual went to post it on Pinterest... Unfortunately the app had some miserable changes made into it.... Hence had to opt back to BLOGSPOT.COM for further help & here I am ranting before blogginf my new found prep..... 

And this space is gonna be my playground again with my LIFE AFTER KUKU 😢

All I can do is just MISS HIM FOREVER hopelessly!!!


CHICKEN LATTPATT/GHASSI

Ingredients

. Chicken -1kg (washed & marinated with haldi & salt)

. Ghee - 1 1/2 cup 

. Mustard Oil - 2 tbspn

. Garlic cloves - 15-20 (peeled & crushed)

. Tomato - 4 medium to large (fine chopped)

. Onion - 4 medium to large (fine chopped)

. Green chilli - 8-10 (cut/slit)

. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbspn

. Cashew nuts - 8-10 halved

. Coriander Leaves - 1/2 cup (fine chopped)

. Salt (lil for chicken fry + to taste on the whole)

. Pepper Powder - 1 tsp

. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp

. Red chilli powder - 1-2 tsp

. Kitchen King powder - 2 tsp

. Cumin Powder - 2 tsp

. Coriander powder - 2 tsp

. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp





METHOD :


1) Heat ghee in a wok & add in chopped onions... Saute for sometime & add in the washed chicken with some salt & pepper powder & keep stir frying until the chicken seems cooked



2) Once done remove the chicken from the wok & keep it aside... 

                                     


3) Now add the mustard oil to the ghee & once it heats up add in crushed garlic + green chilli & stir fry




4) Now add in the cashews & stir fry for sometime 

5) Add in the asafetida (heeng) & stir & then add in the chopped tomatoes & salt & allow it to cook covered, stirring at regular intervals 



6) As the tomatoes seem cooked & mushy, add in the masala powders & give it a good stir & cook for a couple of minutes covered.... u wud see the tomatoes have released oil & blended with the oil & masalas



7) Now add in the fried chicken & stir fry it for sometime covering it for a while

8) Now add a lil water to make a lil gravy that covers the chicken pieces but not completely watery or gravy 



9) check for salt & cover cook for sometime 

10) when u think it is almost done garnish with coriander leaves & add a dash of salt to balance the taste... give it a gud stir & turn off the heat 


SERVE HOT WITH RICE, ROTI OR PARATA!


Everyone at home loved it.... They licked their fingies clean..... slurrrp 😊
