Simply Egged Caramel Custard!

 Hello,

Sharing a dessert I had been yearning to attempt since long but just could not find the courage to... After months of procrastination one fine day I just barged into my kitchen, after the days cooking & sending my bro with his tiffin to his shop....

Just picked the things required for it & with no space for a breather just got down to cook.... Lemme take you through it step by step.... very short 😝

Ingredients:

Milk - 1/2 litre

Sugar - 2 1/2tbsp + 2tbsp

Vanilla Essence - 1- 1 1/2 tsp

Water - hot 1/2 cup

Eggs - 3

Salt to Taste

Steamer + Water

Method:

1. Heat a pan & add in the 1st part of sugar & keep stirring allowing it to boil... You would know when it caramelizes... Just add in the hot water & stir it enough for a good mix...

2. Now pour this into a glass bowl that you would use in the steamer... It could all be poured into one big bowl or it can also be distributed to lil bowls depending on the number of people...

3. Boil the milk... Once done add in the remaining sugar & vanilla drops & give it a good stir...

4. Remove it from the stove & keep aside...

5. Now into another bowl, break the eggs & beat it well along with the salt required to balance the taste... Then add in the warm milk & mix it well too

6. Now sieve the milk, {which is optional, for you are just sieving in any residues left} into that 1 big bowl or many different bowls, as per your choice.... Cover it with aluminum foil with lil openings made by fork/knife

7. Boil the water in the steamer & place this bowl/bowls & allow it to cook covered for about 10-15 minutes....

8. Remove it from the steamer & you would see the custard is set with its center a lil shaky.... Not to worry... 😟

9. Just place the bowl/bowls in the refrigerator allowing it to set completely...

10. Once done remove it to transfer on to a plate watching the richness of caramel, color your custard beautifully...

11. Savor the Cold Caramel Custard feeling the divinity as it slips down your throat making its way through your taste buds.... πŸ˜‹

The taste lingers for long helping you experience divinity within yourself.... πŸ™

Posting Pages On Blogger/BlogSpot

 1) HOW TO POST PAGES AS TABS BELOW YOUR HEADER :

I learnt it after much googling & watching videos & BEING FRUSTRATED THAT NONE SEEMED HELPFUL πŸ˜–

However, I had to try something to be able to achieve for I remember having done a decade ago but now with new BlogSpot & new blogs I was unable to figure it out.... & after much breaking my head I thought of doing it afresh on my other new blog for crafts, that goes by the name Asra Art Studios

And as I did, I printed screen & pasted it on my paint & saved... Once it was all done I thought I must share it, for someone as ignorant as me πŸ˜’

So here lemme take you step by step with pictures....

a. Open the dashboard of your blog & click on [LAYOUT]... It would show you the layout of your blog with its different features visible... Look for [PAGE LIST (TOP)]... Well, this again depends on the theme you have opted for your blog, cuz they are all different with their features... If YOUR THEME shows [page list (Top)] then you would directly click on it.... ELSE, follow step (b) below....

b. Else you would need to click on [+Add A Gadget] as shown in the image below...

c. Soon as you click on it a list of gadgets pop up... just scroll below & you would see [Pages]... Click on it!

d. Once you do it would pop up a window that would say [Configure Page List] Do not do anything as of now... Just click on the Save button below which would take you back to the layout screen & you would see [Pages Gadget] added....

e. You can move your gadget around to place where you need it to be seen... In my case, I like it beneath my header but the theme I opted for already had it placed for me.... Since I was in no need of it, I discarded the gadget... πŸ˜‰

f. Now click on [Pages] below [Earnings] & then click on the option [New Page]

g. Give it a name you want under [Title] & then on the body of the page enter the content related to your title like you would do on your regular blogspot post & then click on [Publish]

h. Once you click on publish you would see your page on dashboard like you would after you publish your post... Now click on view which would open your blog page... Copy the url as shown...

i. Once you copy click on [Layout] & then click on the edit pencil on your [Pages Gadget]...

j. Now [Configure Page List] pops up & you would see [Title (Optional)] which you can leave as is or give it some name to umbrella all the different tabs/pages you would have... Then click on [Add A New Item]

k. [Page Name] Window pops up... Now First, Paste the URL you copied from your blog page & then give your Page Name & then click on [Save]

l. Once done it would take you back to the [Configure Page List] & there YOU MUST ENABLE [Show This Widget] & then click on [Save]

m. That would bring you back to your Layout & you must forever remember to click on [Save] after you make any changes on this page.... Else all your efforts are gone for a toss πŸ™†

n. Now go to your blog, refresh & TaDa!!!! You would see your Page as Tab where you placed... πŸ’

I really really HOPE this post in my page helps someone in needπŸ’•

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!
